It was bedtime. So five little monkeys took a bath.

Five little monkeys put on their pajamas.

Five little monkeys brushed their teeth.

Five little monkeys said good night to their mama.

 

잘 시간이에요. 그래서 다섯 마리의 작은 원숭이가 목욕을 했어요.

다섯 마리의 작은 원숭이가 잠옷을 입었어요.

다섯 마리의 작은 원숭이가 이빨을 닦았어요.

다섯 마리의 작은 원숭이가 잘자요~ 하고 엄마에게 말했어요.

 

Then... five little monkeys jumped on the bed!

One fell off and bumped his head.

The mama called the doctor. The doctor said,

"No more monkeys jumping on the bed!"

 

그때... 작은 원숭이 다섯이 침대 위에서 뛰었어요 
하나가 떨어져 그의 머리를 찧었어요.
엄마가 의사를 불러 의사가 말하길, 
"원숭이는 더 이상 침대에서 뛰면 안 돼!"

 

So four little monkeys...

... jumped on the bed.

One fell off and bumped his head.

The mama called the doctor. The doctor said,

"No more monkeys jumping on the bed!"

 

So three little monkeys jumped on the bed.

One fell off and bumped her head.

The mama called the doctor. The doctor said,

"No more monkeys jumping on the bed!"

 

So two little monkeys jumped on the bed.

One fell off and bumped his head.

The mama called the doctor. The doctor said,

"No more monkeys jumping on the bed!"

 

So two one little monkeys jumped on the bed.

She fell off and bumped her head.

The mama called the doctor. The doctor said,

"No more monkeys jumping on the bed!"

 

So five little monkeys fell fast asleep.

"Thank goodness!" said the mama.

 

그래서 다섯 마리의 작은 원숭이가 빨리 잠들었습니다.

"아 고마워라!" 엄마가 말했어요.

 

"Now I can go to bed!"

 

"자러 갈 수있어!"

 

 

이 책 역시 노래 부르는 영어 그림책이기 때문에 노래와 함께 할 수 있다.

목욕하고, 잠옷 입고, 양치하고 잠자는 표현들과 숫자 표현까지 반복하고 있어 아이들과 일상생활에서 응용할 수 있다.

 

 

1. 첫 번째 노부영

 

이 멜로디가 오리지널(?)인 걸로 알고 있는데, 개인적으론 핑크퐁 버전이 더 재밌다..^^

 

 

2. 두 번째 노부영

 

 노래를 불러주니 흥얼흥얼 따라 하는 모습을 보였다 :D

 

핑크퐁 두 가지 버전 다 재밌다. 외출 시 요긴하게 보여줄 수 있는 영상들!^^ 먼저 익혀서 불러주면 더 좋다.

 

 

3.  낭독 영상

평소에 육성으로 읽어주다 자기 전에는 영상이나 녹음 음성으로만 틀어주면서 반복적으로 노출시키면 좋을 것 같다.

물론 읽어주는 사람이 발음을 교정하기 위해 여러 번 듣고 따라 하는 방법으로 활용해도 좋다.

 

 

4. 핑거 플레이! 손가락 놀이!

 

마이 마더 잉글리시에서 알게 된 손가락 놀이.

 

엄청 간단하다. 손바닥에 다른 손가락으로 점프를 하며 노래를 불러주면 끝.
